His last three movies Housefull 3, Airlift and Rustom earned more than 100 crores. Seems like he is not holding himself back anymore and he is all set to break his own records in 2017 and 2018 with his upcoming films.

Jolly LLB 2
Jolly LLB 2 is directed by Subhash Kapoor and produced by Fox Star Studios is a sequel of Jolly LLB released in 2013. The film will be release on 10th of February 2017. Akshay Kumar will play the role of a lawyer first time in his career.
Robot 2
Robot 2 is directed by S.Shankar and produced by Lyca Production is also a sequel of the film Robot released on 2010. Akshay Kumar, Rajnikanth and Amy Jackson will be in the lead roles and the film will release on the second half of 2017.
Crack
Crack will be directed by Neeraj Panday and produced by Akshay Kumar and Neeraj Panday. The film will be releasing on 15th of August 2017. Crack will be a psychological thriller.
Toilet : Ek Prem Katha
Toilet : Ek Prem Katha will be produce and direct by Neeraj Panday. The release date of this film has still not confirmed but seems like it will also release in 2017. It is said to be the film will be based of Swatch Bharat initiative.
Five
Five will be direct by Omung Kumar and produce by Bhusan Kumar. Akshay Kumar will be seen playing five different characters in the film. This is very challenging but we cannot doubt Akki's versatility. The film will be released 26th of January 2018.
Well it looks like Akshay has definitely became the most favorite boy of the directors by his awesome performances.
