Freaky Ali movie review

Freaky Ali movie review

Freaky Ali is a dream come true film for Nawazuddin Siddiqui. While promoting his previous film Raman Raghav 2.0 at
"The Kapil Sharma Show" he stated his favorite role is a romantic role. Freaky Ali gave Nawazuddin a platform to show his romantic avatar with non other than Amy Jackson. His role in the film is a comedy role and he will be also seen romancing with the leading lady Amy Jackson.

Starring : Nawazuddin Siddiqui (Ali), Arbaaz Khan (Maqsood), Amy Jackson (Megha), Jas Arora (Peter), Seema Biswas (Sulbha), Nikitin Dheer (Danger Bhai), Asif Basra (Kishan Lal), Paresh Ganatra, Alam Khan.

Freaky Ali is directed by Sohail Khan but his brother Salman Khan is not in the leading character but without breaking the tradition of working with brothers he took Aarbaz Khan in the film.

The film starts by showing Nawazuddin selling chuddies. Nawazuddin (Ali) is an orphan who lives in one of the baasti (slum) in Mumbai with is foster mother (Seema Biswas). He couldn't succeed in any business, so he kept changing his business to get rich and make her mother happy. He later became a goon for a local bhai (Nikitin Dheer). His golfing talent was discovered by his neighbour (Asif Basara) who tried to convince Ali to play golf as a pro and join the tournament which is also a good way to earn money. Later Ali puts his hands down and agrees to play golf. He also starts a romance with Vikram’s manager Megha (Amy Jackson). Whether Ali wins the tournament from under the nose of Vikram is what the film is all about…

Its a good film to watch and specially because of Nawazuddin Siddiqui. We saw him in characters like a psycho killer and even as ghost. But he has done full justice with his new romantic character.
