Today, if you walk down the street every 2 people and especially the youth talking about Jio's unbelievable low tariff plans and planning how they can catch the 4G sim. A student who still don't work knows how tough it is to buy the costly tariff plans available by other telecom companies. Reliance became Aaladin's lamp for the unemployed college students.
In a speech, Mr. Ambani announced “Any student who has a valid ID car will get the benefit of 25% more data on Jio’s main tariff plans". It is a delightful offer for the students from the giants.
Here is the list of Reliance Jio's criteria for the students to avail their scheme :
1) A valid ID card issued by a registered university or college is must for every student before applying.
2) Students have to provide a photo copy of the registered ID card at the time of applying.
3) A govt card and 2 passport size photo is also needed along with the college ID card.
4) This special 4G scheme by Jio for students is applicable for both prepaid and postpaid sim cards.
5) Students can enjoy 25% more data on jio's main tariff plans as promised by Mukesh Ambani.
The giant plan to target 100 million customers and with their lucrative plans it seems like they are moving towards their goal. In this highly competitive market where nobody giving an inch space, Reliance Jio came in as a game changer.
Now companies like Vodafone, Airtel, Aircel and Idea have to rework on their strategy to survive in the telecom market.
