MS Dhoni : The untold story directed by Neeraj Pandey was one of the most awaited movie of 2016. Dhoni is one of the most loved cricketer in India but there are very few who actually knows about his struggle and life off the ground. The film brings the unknown story of Indian cricket captain to the big screen.
We all saw the glory of captain cool but unaware of the struggle behind it. Sushant Singh Rajput was absolutely spot on. He perfectly played the character of Dhoni in the film. We can't ignore the effort of Sushant, because of which the film was so real. The way he played the helicopter shots in the film which is the signature shot of Dhoni is excellent.

At the beginning we see Dhoni wants to play football as a goalkeeper and then his school cricket coach discovered his cricket talent. Anupam Kher (Dhoni's father) wanted him to leave cricket and do the goverment job of TT at Kharagpur station for a secured future but later he accepted the fact that his son can be a successful cricketer with his hardwork. In the first half the film moves from one incident to another more frequently. The second half is more focused on Dhoni's love life and his cricketing career.
The film shows how Mahendra Singh's Dhoni's friends helped him on his struggling days. Bhumika Chawla (who played Dhoni's sister) knows what his brother wants and she supported him on his journey. The film faced many controversies before the release but finally its out and now the fans can watch there captain cool played by Sushant.
