Pink movie review : One of the best Movie of this year

Pink movie review

Bengali film director Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury's "Pink" which is produced by Shoojit Sircar is the movie you must see. It is not based on the same old concept of women's rights and equality,
it has shown alot more than that. Pink pointed out the struggle a woman do everyday. It is a realistic film.

There are many films made before on rape, molestation and many uncountable problems a woman face in our country. But Pink gave a very strong message which a woman can relate to better than Men.

In our country, there are still some places where people kill the baby if a girl child is born, and if somehow she managed to survive from the hand of these mean minded people the next thing she face at her teenage is "Restrictions". First thing a girl learn is what she can't do. A girl cannot stay out till late night, She can't wear short clothes, she can't talk with opposite sex because of what so called society will think.

Pink has nicely and strongly shown if a woman denied something, then she mean it and everyone should respect her decision. If she said No there is no other meaning hiding there.

Starring :

Amitabh Bachchan (Deepak Sehgal)
Taapsee Pannu (Minal Arora)
Kirti Kulhari (Falak Ali)
Andrea Tariang (Andrea)
Angad Bedi (Rajveer)
Dhritiman Chatterjee (Judge)
Piyush Mishra

Taapsee Pannu (Minal) and twoa other girls Falak and Andrea lives in a flat as tenants. They become good friends and they used to party and lots of fun together along with their professional career.

Rajveer is a relative of a powerful politician and known to Minal through a common friend. One night, Rajveer and his two friend invited Minal and her flatmates for dinner at a resort. The drunken boys tried to molest Minal and her friends, in defense Minal hit Rajveer with a bottle. Then Rajveer lodges a false "attempt to murder" case against the girls using his political connections.

Amitabh Bachchan played a role of a lawyer who quit practice and also suffering from bipolar disorder. He took the case of these girls and from here the courtroom drama starts.

Piyush Mishra plays the role of the prosecution lawyer and his performance is just excellent. Big B proved again why he is a Megastar of bollywood. The courtroom drama was to the point with no unnecessary scenes. The Second half is more entertaining for the audience.

This is the movie you can't miss. Its a Must Watch.
