Now get ready to receive Jio sim card right at your doorstep. Yes, you don't have to stand anymore in the queue of any Reliance store for hours, Jio started home-delivering sim cards.
Almost every week Mukesh Ambani's Jio comes up with a new idea to engage more people and for the betterment of the company. Its "Welcome Offer" which offers free unlimited high-speed 4G internet and lot more freebies puts a huge impact between peoples. The giant's low price offers are impossible to ignore which makes every individual with a 4G smartphone to grab a Jio sim card. Which results in long queue in front of every Reliance outlet.
To solve this problem and save their customers from trouble the company might soon start a home-delivery service. The giant might soon launch a portal where the interested customers have to fill out a form with basic details such as, full name, address proof, alternate contact number and id proof. Once the details have been successfully submitted, the company will deliver the sim card within 7 days to the applicant's address. This service has been already tested with limited users and the giant will soon make it available in metropolitan cities.
Mukesh Ambani said at the launch of Jio, that the company is aiming to gain 100 million subscribers in the shortest period of time as possible. But after getting a huge response from its "Welcome Offer", now the company revised their target and now aiming 250 million subscribers. If the giant succeed in doing so, then Jio will be the second highest telecom company in India after Airtel. The company is already talking with potential partners to make their service better. It will be interesting to see how fast Jio will solve its call drop issue which is the major problem at the moment.
