Raaz Reboot movie review : Emraan Hashmi

Raaz reboot movie poster and review

Raaz Reboot is another old school bollywood horror movie directed by Vikram Bhatt.
There is nothing new or out of the box thinking to scare us. Mr.Bhatt didn't added any new creative way to scare the audience to put an impact on the film. He used the same things with a new angle which we see in all his movies. There are some scenes which supposed to scare us but instead it made us laugh.

Starring :

Emraan Hashmi (Aditya Shrivastav)
Kriti Kharbanda (Shaina Khanna)
Gaurav Arora (Rehaan Khanna)

Rehaan and Kriti is a happily married couple who move to Romani as Rehaan got a better offer by his company. There the girl felt her husband is keeping distance with her, thats not all Kriti also noticed some unusual activities in the house. Then we'll see all those old techniques to prove a ghost lives in house by slamming doors, whispering sounds, strange wind blowing etc. There is a little twist which might save the movie from being a total mess. Still that is not enough to get a good rating. The film puts up alot of question like what the raaz is? What Emraan have to do with all this? And another question from audience's point of view why its called Reboot? Bollywood should do alot more research and out of the box thinking and should learn new techniques to make a horror film.

The film could have been alot better. Songs can't save a film all the time and sometimes songs in wrong situation can also kill the next scene. The second half of the movie is a little better than the first which might keep the audience in theatre till the end.
