Airtel cuts 32 percent data price to fight against reliance jio

Now Airtel cuts data prices by upto 32 percent to stay in the fight against Reliance Jio.

Reliance Jio's unbelievable low tariff plans made Airtel and other telecoms to remake their tariff plans to retain their customers. This is the second time within a month Bharti Airtel cut off their data tariff plans.

Earlier this month, the giant announced bundled data plan with free voice calls for its postpaid customers. Moreover, in the past month all three pillars of telecom industry - Airtel, Vodafone, Idea cellular revised their data plans for its prepaid users. However, only Vodafone and Airtel offered bundled data plans with free voice fans for its users so far.

The new data pack for its prepaid customers was announced on monday seeks a minimum commitment from its users and provide subsequent recharges at very nominal rates. Moreover, it will now provide carry-forward facility. So if the user doesn't use consume all the data before the expiring its validity, the remaining data will be added to the next recharge.

To avail the new offer from Airtel, the prepaid customers have to pay a sum of Rs.1498 for a recharge which will get them 1GB of 3G/4G data for 28 days. After consuming the 1GB data, the customers can 1GB of internet for just Rs.51 for 12 months and there is no limit on the number of recharges a user can do within that 12 month period. Isn't that Great!!
